Robert M Peroutka, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with more than 30 years of experience. A Baltimore native, he obtained his undergraduate degree from Duke University and earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He returned to the Duke University Medical Center for his orthopedic surgery residency training, and then completed his fellowship training as the Maurice E Muller Foundation North American Fellow in Adult Reconstructive Surgery. His fellowship training was completed at Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital, New England Baptist Hospital, Johns Hopkins Health System and the Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic.
