Damodar Pandey, MD

Dr Damodar Pandey was born in the beautiful Himalayan country, Nepal, and completed his medical school from Rangpur Medical College (Rajshahi University), Bangladesh. After working as a clinical research associate, he completed two years of general surgery residency, internal medicine residency and then fellowship in Gastroenterology from Montefiore Medical Center- Wakefield, Bronx, NY. During his specialization in Gastroenterology, he was awarded Teaching Fellow of the Year and for Outstanding Achievement in the Teaching of Medical Students. When asked about the principle of his patient care, Dr Pandey says, When I manage any patient, the first thing comes to my mind is that what I would do if the patient was my family member or friend.
