Beatriz Briones, MD - General Surgery

Beatriz A. Briones, MD, is a general surgeon for GBMC Health Partners Finney Trimble Surgical Associates. She earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Shreveport and completed her general surgery residency there as well. Dr. Briones fell in love with surgery during medical school. She enjoys being able to fix something with her own two hands, and the relationship with patients who put their trust in her to care for them. Her areas of surgical interest include robotics, hernias, acute care, vascular access, breast, gallbladder, appendix, colon/gastrointestinal, and skin/soft tissue.
