Apex Counseling Center, LLC

We offer counseling in a warm, inviting space bestrewn with original artwork. The debate over whether psychotherapy is more scientific or more artistic has been resolved at Apex. Our dual meaning motto is: “More art than science.” The art of building trusting, confidential, and nonjudgmental relationships allows the science part to articulate and identify specific, measurable, and puzzling behaviors. They are then talked about and worked on. Most Apex therapists (we supervise one Psychology Associate and one LGSW-C) are independently licensed by one of the following Maryland Board of Examiners: Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, and Medicine.
