Anna’s House provides transitional and permanent housing for women and children experiencing homelessness in Harford County, and helps them on the road to self-sufficiency. Since opening in 1991, Anna’s House has grown to include transitional housing units onsite and graduate housing sites located throughout the community. Each client receives weekly case management targeting her particular needs and strengths, plus training in life skills, job readiness, parenting and coping skills to increase self-esteem. Both onsite and community-based social activities are provided for residents and their children to nurture their physical, emotional, and professional well being.
